SPECIALISTS REFERRALS
For more difficult and complicated cases where a specialist consultation is necessary, we can arrange for the seafarer to see one without delay. To facilitate rapid analysis, our doctor would see the patient first, order and perform all the necessary investigations to narrow down the diagnosis so that the patient can be directed to the correct specialist without unnecessary rechannelling. In this manner the patient would be treated in a focused manner without the need of being cared by several specialists ending much higher cost.
HOSPITALISATION
For cases who are very ill and hospitalisation is urgently required, this can be done easily with our rapid access to our own hospitals. This can be done without much trouble and delay. The A & E Depts which are under our managment could be co-ordinated so that admission procedures are minimized and direct admission and attendance can be achieved. The patients would be attended to immediately thereby reducing the hospsital stay and cost.
