Medical Treatment:
This can be done on ships or at our Medical Centre. On the ships, our doctor will board the ships at the time and place specified. This can be at the port, pier, shipyards under repair or out in the sea in and out of port areas, even in international waters. This is classified as Ship Calls.
When it is done at our Medical Centre, the consultation can be done more effectively with in deep analysis of the problem. When a seafarer is sick and the ship is for long vovage it is necessary to establish the definitive diagnosis to ensure that the treatment is specific to establish rapid recovery. This would save lives but medical cost in the long term avoiding unnecessary complications. This is Clinic Medical Consultaion and Investigations.
Dental Treatment.
This has to be performed in the Dental Surgery in the Medical Centre. This is due to the fact that dental treatment is usually has to be done in the sterile place and involve all the dental equipment and proper dental procedure can only be performed in the Dental Clinic. The dental surgeon would see the patients even without an appointment as we are aware of the need to get rapid dental treatment to meet the tight schedule of the shipping operations. We can provide dental operations, extractions, restorative & conservative dental procedures including crown & bridges, gum treatment, bleaching and orthodontic therapy.
